Congratulations to Tom Budler! Tom received the Golden Apple Award for the 2008-2009 school year.
His peers nominated him as a competent, compassionate, and trustworthy individual. His reputation of integrity and straight-forwardness has thrust him into major roles in internal resolution affairs, negotiations committees, and countless teacher leadership groups. Tom is an approachable instructor who demands a strong work ethic and commitment from his students. He is available and understanding of students who require additional instruction. He has high expectations for all students and reminds them that they don't get grades - they earn them.
We appreciate Tom's dedication to York Public Schools and are very proud to have him as a staff member! He is very deserving of this honor!
