Many colleges and universities offer special programs for high school seniors and prospective students to visit their campuses. Seniors are encouraged to take advantage of these programs.

Creighton University
Creighton University offers two visitation programs for prospective students--CU Sundays and Jay Days
CU Sundays
Creighton's CU Sundays offer participates a campus tour, an informational session on the admission process, the opportunity to explore more than fifty academic programs at our Majors Fair, visit with Creighton faculty, students and admissions representatives. Lunch is provided on campus.

Jay Days
At Jay Days you will learn about Creighton in a smaller group setting than at a CU Sunday. Jay Days are scheduled on weekdays, while classes are in session, to give you a good feel for campus life. At a Jay Day, you will tour the campus, meet with faculty, students and admissions representatives.

Dana College
Discover Dana Days
There are two Discover Dana Days scheduled for this fall: Saturday, Oct. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 7. These large group, admissions events provide a full morning of activity. Participants have the opportunity to take a campus tour, visit with current Dana students, learn about financial aid opportunities, academics and extracurricular activities. Participants eat lunch in our college cafeteria, our treat!

UNL offers an all day (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) open house program to high school seniors and their families. At these Red Letter Days, students have the opportunity to pick from several group presentations such as: choosing a major, university housing, scholarships, learning communities, financial aid, and many more. They have a chance to attend academic presentations, meet with faculty from their academic area of interest, have lunch in a residence hall, meet other prospective students and interact with current students. Some Red Letter Days are geared specifically toward a certain major. All academic departments are represented during the general Red Letter Days |
